What can I expect right after a chemical peel?

The skin is initially tender and more sun-sensitive as the epidermis renews itself.

After the peeling takes its course (usually 3-5 days after the treatment) fresh new skin emerges and ingredients in homecare products start to work more effectively.

What products should I use after my chemical peel?

You will be provided with a post-peel treatment kit and instructions on how to use it for the days following your peel.

If you have any questions you are welcome to contact me.

What do I do when I have finished my post-peel treatment kit?

You will get much better results, long term, by using AlumierMD products which have been recommended to you for use in-between your treatments.

How do AlumierMD products differ from those you can buy on the high street?

Products bought in a department or high street shop are often diluted and manufactured for general concerns.

AlumierMD products combine a variety of medical-grade ingredients including AHA’s, BHA’s, retinol, antioxidants, plant extracts, vitamins and peptides as well as innovative new components.

The concentrations of these ingredients are generally much higher than in drugstore brands, and work synergistically to improve skin conditions, including acne, rosacea, dry skin, hyperpigmentation and ageing skin.

Can I use AlumierMD products if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

Please consult your physician regarding skin care product choices if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Why must I cleanse my face in the morning?
